VIDEO TRANSMISSION

PROBLEMS WITH VIDEO TRANSMISSION:

  • Non-linear cable loss

  • Loss of video signal quality

  • Signal at the end of the line no longer complies with the standard  specifications and is not suitable for further processing.

OUR SOLUTION:

  • The AHD video signal is driven by a cable line driver with pre emphasis in the high frequency range (6MHz-45MHz) to compensate for nonlinear cable loss. This improves the signal-to-noise ratio over the long transmission path and the associated considerable attenuation.

  • The signal is postprocessed on the control unit side to correct shape and amplitude (adjustable multi-stage band selective amplifier stages - AHD video equalizer).  Additionally the signal is clamped at a constant DC voltage level. The adjustment parameters are used to process signals for different cable types and lengths. They can be saved on files as sets and programmed by software so that in case of service (cable replacement or shortening the cable) the adjustment  
    can be done easily and time saving.

DEVELOP EFFICIENTLY:

With our AHD-EVAL-1 module, the evaluation of our transmission components for the two camera modules 21C14AT and 20Z10L is made much easier and the control interface can also be tested for setting the camera focus and setting operating parameters for the camera 21C14 .
